Chicken-on-a-Stick

The day after Jolyn babysat for me, we took our Dylans to the International Folk Festival so her husband could take my husband to look at the houses I had seen while she had babysat the day before. We got a chicken-on-a-stick for them to share. We had to go back and get another one b/c they liked it so much. We also got a smoothie. We stuck to what we knew they would like even though a lot of random international foods were available.

The boys got to run around in the open areas.
One of their favorite things was the non-international advertisement for H&R Block.
My Dylan liked the Native American set up. He called it "BEE-uh-buck" (A.K.A. Jungle Book) because of the animal skins and stuffed animals I guess.

Dylan also liked to watch the Polynesian dancers.
Some of the dancers were from our church. The Polynesia Connection tent was ours. Aren't the little girls so cute?! These pictures are from the day before when we sold grass skirts our youth group made. We sold them for a fund raiser so the girls can go to girl's camp this summer.
