End of baseball season banquet
The boys had an end of season banquet at Joto's pizza. The coaches got the kids trophys to go along with their metals.
The coach's wife made each boy a baseball card and gave them a couple of copies. The coach made each kid a report on specific tips. The team mom made each kid a goodie bag with a team photo, 3 pics of the kids she took and printed at home, baseball gum, mini Cubs hats (like the ones that they serve Dip 'n Dots in), a baseball tattoo, a baseball bouncy ball, and curly straws.

Opening Day of Baseball
Both Dylan and Isaac are on the same team. The Cubs.
Steven is one of the coaches.
We each got some farmer's tans from the long day. And also some cheap sunglasses which were a hit!

My little pitcher!
Dylan is on a coach pitch team.
Isaac is on a Tee Ball team.
Isaac's coach has pitched to the team from day one.
Dylan's league has a machine that sling shots the balls to the kids.
They let the kids pitch to one another and chose Dylan to pitch in the last game!!
We invited Granddad and Dylan's teacher Ms. Wolcott too! They both came!
Grandma was visiting church ladies.
Dylan scored here.We cheered like crazy:)
Here he is! On the mound!
I took a plastic jar for Tyler. It worked. It kept him from noticing that we were on the field by the parking lot. He collected rocks 'n stuff.
Dylan's fans.
Isaac paid attention a little, and took pictures, but not of Dylan:)
Dylan earned the game ball!
He has two here, not sure why, I should ask him.
We love his teacher!!! I think Isaac should just skip kindergarten and go right to her class next year.

Tyler's Dinglehopper
Remember on The Little Mermaid when They were wondering what a fork was and how to use it?
Tyler usually loves putting blown around trash in the trash can, but this particular man's trash is Tyler's treasure.
I initially posted this from my phone while watching this game, that gymnastics picture is from earlier today.
Dylan played 3rd base most of the game.
Isaac brought his notepad from Uncle Andre and Aunt Barbie. I think he may have called it his homework.
Back to the dinglehopper.
Steven is coaching Dylan on when to run HOME to score!!! He hit the ball in the outfield! He scored the previous game too AND threw a ball to get someone out at 1st. He should have earned the game ball we think.
Dylan scored!! He's actually #6 but I like that from this picture, I can pretend he's our family's usual #5. My mom was #5 when she played, so we always want that # and often get it.
So happy, but following directions so he's looking at the coaches but wanting to come give me hugs and high fives I'm sure:)

Then I went on a "nun" [run] with Tyler who was sooo tired. I had to wake him to put him in his car seat. I so dislike waking that baby boy. Good game, my Dylan!

Dear Uncle JT/Elder Gille, we miss you!
My brother Jonathan is on a mission and asked to see pics of his nephew's gymnastics skills. I'll forward this email to him. (You can enter your email in the "subscribe by email" box to the right to get this in an email once I post if you're that big of a blog stalker.) I'll only forward posts occasional but that way he won't have to wait for the 3rd world country's computers to download individual pics of my boys.
Isaac is a good kid, which is out of the ordinary for this age group I think. Notice his coach in the pictures, he usually doesn't pay attention to Isaac much, even when he's working directly with him. I don't expect Isaac to go to the Olympics with this, so I'm used to this now.
Dylan took a turn at being the catcher! I'd be scared.
The next game was on a COLD Wednesday evening. Isaac, Tyler and I bundled up. This is Tyler signing "Coooold"
This past Saturday was a beautiful day again. Steven helps with Isaac's team some. Isaac usually hits w/o the tee, but after 3 pitches from his coach, they get out the tee.
Then we go watch Dylan. Steven is the assistant coach there. Mom and Don came to watch both boys.
Oh, and Tyler is officially old enough to be in the nursery now. So he wouldn't be with you during Sunday School any more, so it's okay that you're on your mission now I guess:)
And this afternoon we rode bikes in your old cul de sac.
See the bags behind Mom and Isaac? They had a replacement kid come over and rake and bag over 30 bags of leaves! He was over for 9 hours yesterday!
We love our Uncle Elder JT!

Did you do your dancing/flipping at LaFleure's? That's where Isaac goes.
The boys started Tee Ball and Baseball too.
The first game was on a cold Saturday.
They're on different teams now. Dylan is on "coach pitch" baseball where they keep score and they do "3 strikes you're out" and switch at 3 outs.Dylan took a turn at being the catcher! I'd be scared.
