Unexpected Visitors

January 1st
Steven had mentioned that we wanted to extend the sprinkler system under the side walk into our flower bed. Don heard of that and came over with Jonathan and did it when Steven was at work; they are almost like having land lords, we're so lucky! Everybody was sleeping except for Isaac. Typical. He watched at a distance for only about 3 min.
Malia and Noah woke up. Malia loves PJs. She also loves to switch clothes and can do it so fast. Corrie and I are fine with it. Wouldn't you like to live in PJs if you could? Tuesdays and Wednesdays are her days to be free.
A big doggie came bounding into our yard. The kids like dogs b/c of Malia and Noah's dog, so they weren't afraid. It was a pesky doggie who stole a work glove. I had to chase it down. At one point I had to straddle it to get a glove out of its mouth. That's when we noticed it had just had a bath or had gone for a swim.

It was pretty funny, running in circles. We tied him to our tree. Isaac gets so excited when he sees dogs. He does the sign with both hands when he sees one on a commercial or on a walk.
A neighbor came to claim him a little later.

Cute fun dog, but we're not ready for one of our own.

You are brave to wrestle a stray dog. I'm terrified of dogs, ever since my own dog attacked my face! They can't be trusted!

Is Malia wearing boy pj's?

Yes they're boy PJs. Her grandma got them for her and she kept defending the fact that they could be for a girl or boy. Malia likes any kind of PJs.
