Um, I think I was about 21. Maybe I was 20. It was for lunch at the Applebees on the corner of Starkey and Brian Dairy, with Mom. I don't remember why we went to lunch there, but we did, and somehow it came up that I'd never had a steak, so Mom insisted I order one. It wasn't too bad. I still don't understand what all the fuss is about, but at least now I can say I've tried one. :)
I still haven't ordered my own steak. I've split one at Andre's before or had a bite of somebody else's. So this may have been MY first steak too, one that I didn't share anyway. My kids are spoiled.
