Last day of my sisters trip

In the morning we got up and left at 5:45am. Cami was only able to go with us if we found a way to get her to the airport so she could fly to work. She has to work all night tonight! We left in our PJs but Betsey and Cami were all dressed up.
We ate Subway and tried the Ocean Water blue drink from Sonic next door.
We made good time so I got to Kat's when she was still at church. Her church is in walking distance so I had my friends drop me off at her front door. I tried the handle and it was locked so my plan was to get a dress out of my suitcase and change in the back yard. My plan failed. Preston surprised me and opened the front door! Sadie had been up caughing and had a yucky nose so although he was dressed and ready to go, he had stayed home with baby Sadie. Kat had still been up at 2am when Sadie had coughed herself awake and he saw Kat up stressing bc their printer wasn't printing! He saved the day and printed a couple of copies at his shop since she was going to have to print it somewhere else. She said it went well and the funny thing was that the family she spotted there early who held her fussy baby were the musical number who she preceded. She had to go get her baby from the hall so they could go on next. We had her deliver her talk on service and it was so good! She quoted scriptural references without reciting them since she had understood and compared and paralleled them with others. Her interpretation was a good reminder of doctrines about things like for repentance to stick, service is needed. She used past prophets' counsel and Bible references and related them to every day examples as well as to current events. I like the references to our mom and Mr. Rogers and how in tragedies, we should look for, and where possible, be the helpers. She talked about how she was prepared to give service. I wish she lived closer so we could help one another!
Here's her pedigree chart she printed. Awesome!

What a beautiful evening. This place gets windy at times! Aren't we all so pretty? Yes Jamie, Amber's husband, and baby Fredrick too :)
Emmy's wedding was in the University of Montana which is a beautiful old brick campus where her mom works.
We saw Aunt sue on our way in.
The ceremony was in a beautiful auditorium. It's a small room with a short stage. We got there early and got the best seats in the house if you ask me!
I liked their wedding party and line up. On the groom's side, it was Rick's brother and sister Rhonda with her two boys, one of whom was the ring bearer. On Emmy' side stood her brother Loren, sister Ann, cousin Brittney, and niece.
They had each strutted down the isle to their places where Emmalee's uncle officiated.
They had a poem read by Ann and a fun acapella musical number by Ann's daughters and son. They exchanged views and were pronounced "married."
They jumped over a pretty broom.
Then we walked down to the Lewis and Clark ballroom for the party.
Betsey's 2 month old was just amazing. So sleepy and happy.
We hung out at our table a lot. Matt and Erika were there with their 4 kids! He's a dentist in Washington. We all caught up.
And had fun. We were to take photos and hashtag #rickeyheartsemmy on Instagram.
People came to us as we sat.
They had some kind toasts then Emmy thanked us for all the love she felt too.
In case I forget, left to right at our table is Erika, Cami, Fredrick, Betsey, (hi), Amber, then Matt's in front of Jamie.
We danced to a line dance song of some kind.
And did the wobble.
I'm so glad I asked as bystander to take photos. We didn't dance much and the photographer was gone, not that I would see any of those ever though, but I need these photos to jog my bad memory! This bride has had a big impact on my life. She was there each night as I would stay up and/or out late. She worked through my deafness to alarm clocks. She I must have tried the heck out of her patience and tolerance skills but she loved me unconditionally and still does. I love her too. I had thought that a blonde FL girl and a brunette MT girl would have nothing in common. But we did! A love for our crazy fun families mostly :) She is a great listener and told me truths but loved me anyway when I would repeat mistakes. She didn't judge but cared. She's the same now. And there were so many genuine friends at her wedding! I felt antsy with my own amazing friends and wanted to mingle and connect with others or dance!
Her brother-in-law had her sign to become officially official!
A little more YMCA dancing. I had the baby at this point until Amber took him.
Then Aunt Sue held him.
"A little bit lower now..."
We stole Emmy for a bit. I know that everyone there probably wanted to talk to her. So pretty!
We stayed late then went to bed instead of seeking out a newborn-friendly after party since we had to get up early (and b/c we are old!) I miss my Julia! And my family!

Skimboard Camp

Marcie has told us about this skim camp. We did a couple half days last summer and it was awesome. So we did a whole day this time and I stayed through lunch. It was not as good since there were so many kids. And our kids already know how to skim and didn't even want to learn more or use the fiberglass ones much. Oh well.
We flew a kite!
Isaac surfed with Matt and Danny. Awesome!

Dylan's friend Erden went to the camp with us too.
Tyler found money!! I had him leave it until we left to see if anyone would come back for it.
When we left, Tyler picked up trash. So sweet.
Then he stepped on a sticker.
Julia sometimes doesn't want to walk back. That's what the sling is for.
The kids had lunch and ice cream so we had our own at home.
We rinsed off in the pool.
