Harvest Party at Dylan's Preschool

Dylan's school is at a church. They don't know which parents celebrate Halloween, so they don't celebrate it. BUT, on the Friday before, they had a Harvest Party. It has nothing to do with Halloween, costumes are discouraged, yet it also had nothing to do with harvesting.

This year it was inside. Some of the little "carnival games" had to do with the Bible stories.
The boys loved trying to knock Goliath over with bean bags.
They had pop corn and juice boxes for snacks. The kids had to sit down to eat, and that's just what Isaac did. The Good Samaritan game in the back? The kids could put band-aids on his owies (blind folded.)
Dylan found some lost sheep.
And made it through the belly of the big fish like Jonah did. Here are the two things that reminded me of Halloween. Dylan kept straitening the eye to make it perfect. Isaac put the nose in the middle area.
This was cute. They found the little rubber pumpkin erasers in the packaging pop corn and handed them in to the mom who was helping then did it again and again.
They had other fun little games too. They didn't get any candy, but did get to pick out a couple of toys which Dylan shared with Isaac when we went to the park right after.

Then we went for that fun run when skinny Lindsay got there. (See post below.)
