4/11/09 - (over a month late)
In order to keep the real meaning of Easter separate from the Easter Bunny part, my parents started the tradition of "Easter Saturday." We would get books, big vitamin C wafers, raisins, and possibly candy in our Easter baskets that my mom made. My grandma Rebeck would send us Peeps too!
I'm keeping up my own version of the tradition.
Friday night:
My spoiled kids: (Dylan had what I diagnosed as pink eye in his right eye.)
They did get raisins too, but they picked the fun lollys to eat first.
Dylan wanted to take a picture of the Easter animals that were out of storage for a while. He lined them up first.
