I waited to get out the slip n slide 'til I had enough energy - not to slide myself, but for the clean up and hastle of it all. It wasn't a big deal at all, I didn't even have to make any rules for the kids. I've been feeling so good since the first trimester is behind me. I'm ready to nest, but not fully until I find out if I'm having a girl or a boy. I can't wait to find out - that's why I'm staying up blogging! I can't sleep. I find out at 9am.
k, back to the slip n slide. My friend Liz and her baby came over, so we got out the slip 'n slide. The kids LOVED it!
This is a horrible picture, but you can see the action:)
Malia does everything w/ craziness. She quickly learned that she could not just slide, but slide and twist and go crazy. Noah and Isaac stayed pretty mellow on it, but still were less fearless than I thought they'd be.
Obviously we went swimming next even though the pool cooled down to just under 80 degrees. By "we" I mean the 3 older kids. Isaac has been since, but Malia, Dylan, and Noah really really swam. I love Malia and Dylan's races accross the pool.
Here's a new reason to get out my camera:) Hi baby Peyton!
He stayed in the shade - a big beach umbrella we poked into our lawn. We're looking into some permanent shade. . .
We cooked turkey hot dogs on the grill. I'm loving summer time!
Then the kids stayed under that umbrella in our yard to eat popsicles (it was a hot hot hot day), then they stayed to play with chalk, etc. Then they used the shade for their caterpillars.
Malia will eventually hatch them into butterflies.
I layed down in that shade with them for a while too. It was such a beautiful day. Lots more to come . . . I plan on being in my swimsuit hiding out in by back yard all summer long:)

Eggs!
It's not the most productive week, but I'm happy that we colored Easter Eggs:)
On Wednesday evening, we colored them at church. Sister Nannie had lots of kits, eggs, and ideas for our Young Women. One of them had never colored eggs before!
She let me bring home some of the extras so I didn't need to go to the dollar store. I had Steven get more eggs from Publix and we were ready. I was supposed to have Malia and Noah today, but Noah was sick, and so was Dylan. Let me back up. I was cleaning my patient's teeth yesterday when I heard my phone buzz. I looked back and saw that it was the preschool. I made that split second decision to excuse myself and deglove. My patient was understanding - I only answer it if it's whoever is with my kids and have only had to excuse myself once before. They told me that Dylan was hysterical in the office there and was sure he was about to get sick. He hadn't yet. I told them I would be there in about 45 minutes. I finished up with my patient, cleaned but didn't re-set up. Our other hygienist hadn't answered her phone, and my patients weren't answering their phones either, so the plan was to go get my boys and come back with apologies to my good patients. I knew they would understand. I got Dylan first. They hadn't gotten him his green blanket which he had taken that morning. He normally leaves it at home, but he said he wasn't feeling good so I let him take it. (I probably should have listened to him.) I had asked them on the phone 40 minutes before to go get it for him and that it was in his cubby. They told me that it was still on his cot in the corner. So I scooped up my sick baby and went into his class to retrieve the comfort blanket. It was in the cubby, like I had assumed. Dylan started crying harder, then got sick on my shoulder and the blanket - right in front of his class. I felt so bad for him. He had held out for almost an hour and hadn't moved because he knew once he moved - that he would get sick. We got Isaac and went home. Luckily Dylan had a clean shirt in his cubby - I don't carry a diaper bag any more. Dylan felt better, but I still had to go back to work - not to work, thankfully. The other hygienist had come to the rescue. Sadly I missed a half day of work on Tuesday because patients cancelled. Weird. I did go in to get my things and to apologize to the other hygienist and to my patient. I had really wanted to tell her I am pregnant. Oh well. At home, Dylan cried all evening and got sick a couple of more times. His tummy was empty from the first time he was sick. He finally fell asleep while we were brushing Isaac's teeth, so we put them to bed. Steven suggested that we go to bed too because he predicted a rough night. Boy was he right. Dylan moaned all night long and felt like he was going to get sick again. He finally did at like 4am so we got some good sleep from then 'til 7:15 when he cried again. He cried non-stop with the heaving and headache etc through lunch time. Of course we were praying and squirting gator-ade and water and fennel seed tea down his mouth all night and morning. I decided to boil the eggs and go outside with Isaac. Dylan wanted to go too. That hot sunshine is a miracle. After about 15 minutes, Dylan told me that his tummy didn't hurt any more! He hadn't really talked in about 24 hours. So we dyed, glittered, and painted. It was hot, so he drank some of his gator-ade.
I didn't notice how this happened, but took a picture of it:)
Dylan ate solids! He ate grapes:)
He didn't want to eat an egg, but Isaac and I did.
The dye washed off of us in the pool, which was 84 degrees! Yay for a turn-around day!

(Oops, Dylan woke up from his nap w/ a fever and sore throat.
He lost his voice too. I spoke too soon. )

girl's camp fund raiser
just a quick note, the young women that I work with each Wednesday evening and Sunday (and other times), are going to a church camp this summer and need help raising $. The older girls are going to Navoo, a historical church site this summer instead. I like their fundraiser for them and maybe you will too.
click the link: https://sites.google.com/site/stpeteywgirlscamp/fundraiser
to see temple prints by somebody in our Stake (county).

The fundraiser is selling 11X14 temple watercolor prints of various temples. The cost of the prints are $25, $20 towards sending a young woman to camp. Put my name or "Seminole Ward" in the comments section. It's $3 for shipping for up to 10 prints at a time. If you live locally, we'll hand deliver them, so no shipping.
thanks:)
I want a girly one for the baby girl's room, but what if it's a boy. the deadline is April 10th - in 4 days!!!! (I bet they'll let us order afterwards though.) I don't find out the gender 'til the 18th.
happy shopping for a good causes!

Kat and Preston's reception
Kat was sooooo happy, and it showed:)
While they were outside taking pictures in the cold (to me it was cold), our Grandpa Gille slept. I love that. He used to sleep at his house when we would visit him. He could sleep through all of us cousins running around and around his house. Now it's my nieces and nephews who were doing most of the running around. He's the same:)
There was lots of silly picture taking going on now that everybody but me has a fancy phone.
Yes they're siblings, as if I had to tell you:)
How fun, to have fun families.
This is Dylan and Isaac's photo opportunity, and the Babcock kids' but they weren't there - we missed them.
Hollie's mom made us our matching maternity dresses. They were perfect even though Kat couldn't tell any of us the exact color she wanted us in.
We ate dinner before the reception after the wedding, so we were content with the crepes they served for the lots and lots of people there.
She opted for only the blue ribbon, in case you were wondering from a previous post.
It's beautiful! If any of you remember MY wedding cake and the "flores naturales" on top which nearly ended up on the floor, you'll appreciate why I didn't think the black mattered one little bit:) At least we can bond with our cake miscommunication stories:)
I have to mention that I really didn't think Kat would do the garter thing. I thought she should have one though, to have something blue and something borrowed. I made this garter for some church lesson on getting excited and preparing ourselves for marriage. That was when I was 11 with Sister Reeves. I made it by hand. I found it in a box a while back, and the bow had a fake flower in it, they were really popular back then and came in a little bunch with wire stems. The lace was yellowed and it looked old. So I took the lace off, put a new ribbon on it, and bedazzled it with a piece of an old ear ring of mine. I really thought it would be for her eyes only, but to my surprise, it went flying across the room and this little guy didn't know what to do with it:) (It's upside down.)
So the reception was over. It was time for Kat to change our of her dream wedding gown. Her excitement didn't end there though. She was now Mrs. Tilby!
Here's Linly, our cousin, with her bouquet she caught.
(That's cake on the windshield.)
JUST MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
